Life is Short

We purchased the microwave a month ago because the one we had stopped working. The extended warranty company could not find a repair company said they would give us some money to buy a new microwave. They did not cover the entire cost. It was less than 6 years old and in a built in space above the oven. We had little choice but to get a replacement, same size and same product. We have moved into our new home January of 2013. We chose all Jenn-Aire appliances. So far the dishwasher and microwave have failed. We could not have better incentive to continue purchasing extended warranties.

Built-in obsolescence

I bought this six years ago. When it stopped working, JennAir told me it was a non-repairable appliance. That’s shameful.

Really enjoying our new construction home, new kitchen and gorgeous oven ... easy to use, cool sounds, great features, love the big window and the modern, elegant design. Makes cooking a joy for my wife.
