I am happy to report that this 1.4 cu. ft. microwave does every thing my 1.6 cu. ft. microwave did. And does it well.

I really liked the way it heats most food & surprisingly, popcorn & potatoes turn out perfect. Our old microwave had a beverage & sensor reheat setting which this one does not & the reheat doesn't heat thicker foods (meat & gravy) on the first try but when you disrupt the cycle to check, stir & continue heating, you pretty much have to start the reheat all over again because at that point, the food isn't hot enough. My old microwave had a door handle where this one has a push button but the door button is harder to open & moves the microwave when used. I don't want this review to sound negative because I LOVE Fridgidaire products which is why we bought it & own other Fridgidaire appliances. Good products & good customer service.

Bought this countertop microwave to replace an overhead microwave that quit. It is adequate for what we use it for. It does not defrost particularly well, but otherwise works well.
