This was to replace a competitors range that had failed. I was looking for a basic operation stove after having the digital control fail numerous times I wanted to return to simplicity. I love my Amana!

This stove was a good price, but wish I would have spent more and maybe I would have a stove that works properly. The big burners don't get hot enough. I like to can vegies, and it didn't get hot enough to get the water boiling in the canner. I think it's defective. Will try to get it replaced. Also doesn't have a timer.
