    When buying an appliance, it is like making an investment. I look for good design appearance, a sign of quality. I look for what performance it offers and reliability. I am very pleased with this Electric Range in every respect. Money will spent.

    This replaced 15 year old stove which was "tired" but working. Fast heating and responsive to temperature settings, intuitive setting procedure, pleased so far.

    In the middle of the night, I was woken up by a bright flash (like lightning or a camera flashbulb) and a loud POP, followed by non-stop clicking noises. I went to my kitchen, and the range was clicking really loudly. The display panel was completely blacked-out. And the door to the oven was locked--would not open. I went to reset the circuit breaker, but came back, and it was still clicking. I pulled the range out, and saw that the clicking looked like a white spark in the back, as if the oven was trying to light. I just shut off the circuit breaker. Brand new (less than 16 months old) ranges should NOT just shut down like this. I was worried it might start a fire!

    I was excited to move into a slide in range. I wanted the best I could get withour going broke and this fit the bill. The range top is harder to clean than I would like; thus the 4 star rating instead of 5.

    The stove has been a good product. We like the glass top and it always looks as if it were brand new. It has an excellent broiler and this gets used every day. The only complaint is with the oven door. The hinges are soo powerful that they can snap back on the door with taking it off to clean it. This resulted in the glass breaking. My other stove had a different locking system for the door and we nevere had a problem removing or replacing the door.
