Bad quality

I bought this thing 4 years ago. It stopped working at all. The technician said there are recalls about it but I never received any. Should not trust the recommendation of the worker at Home Depot.

Poor engineering poor customer service stay away

Bought this fridge 5.5 years ago. The serial number was part of a losing lawsuit and LG was ordered to offer an enhanced warranty for non cooling events and pay customers back for lost food and damages. My fridge just had a non cooling event 6 months past the normal warranty and LG says their hands are tied and cant do anything for us. So because my fridge lasted a little bit longer that the average fridge in that faulty class action lawsuit losing series I am out of luck. That doesnt sit right with me. Not even going to elaborate with my problems with my LG washing machine drain pump which failed 3 months after the end of the warranty. Not buying LG again. Id be surprised if they leave this review online if you can read this my opinion of the company went up a smidge but still to low to give them my money again.

I have had the refrigerator for a few years the ice maker has gone out twice and the condenser once. After the condenser was fixed it just doesnt get as cold as it used to.

Love the space but...

This unit has tons of space for storage and lots of moveable shelves and bins to accommodate lots of large items. Our one complaint is the icemaker bin continues to freeze up. I have replaced the icemaker itself with a genuine LG part with no luck. I even had a certified LG repairman come out to fix the ice maker. He thawed out the clump of ice disassembled the entire unit and reassembled. 1 month later the problem returned. I have since done the same thing 2 times but cannot seem to find/solve the problem.

A beautiful refrigerator with all the features you would ever want. This is my second LG refrigerator and I will never use any other brand.
