Never will buy a Maytag again

We had to buy this refrigerator due to the size of our previous one that stopped working... They added an ice machine. After a 1.5 years 1) Ice Machine Does not work so we have to buy ice once a week. 2) Freezer Door compartments 1) take up too much room in the ice box, 2) gap is too wide so we have to get containers so we could use them for storage. 3) Freezer - constantly ices up completely - like the ones you had to defrost periodically. 4. Drawer in Cold Part - does not close since it was installed and the side rail broke the 2nd day. 5. Anything stored in the back of the Cold refrigerator - freezes and therefore has to be thrown away. 6. Door has to be oiled constantly as it squeaks when opening and closing. Our family still has a refrigerator from the 1940's that still works. This Maytag - was a bad investment. DO NOT BUY MAYTAG

Bought after our fancy LG fridge went through 2 compressors in about 3 years. Wanted reliability with Maytag and that’s what we got!

We like the fridge, but the edges are rough and somewhat unfinished, especially on the freezer door. The lighting is great in the top and bottom.. It is quiet. Roomy and nice shelving and good storage.

Bought this a couple weeks ago on sale.Good size freezer and refrigerator,with the option to move shelves on the door.I love it and would have given it 5 stars if the light was brighter.Easy to change door swing and nice ss face.

Freezer is icing up since I got it a month ago.

I bought this refrigerator, and it was delivered a few weeks ago. The freezer has continually had ice buildup, which I have had to remove weekly. I am wondering if the freezer door is defective and needs to be replaced.
