Difficult to cook on this stovetop

this stove is great when it works but the touch panel controls do not work when wet or when your fingers are wet. any amount of moisture makes it extremely frustrating to adjust temperature on the touch dials. also the burners are extremely sensitive to the pan size and location. the two small burners on the right are almost useless with any pans 5-7 inch which. sometimes they work for a few minutes and then the burner just shuts off. the good part is if your pot boils over it seems to sense it and react and either drop power or completely shut off the burner. the bad news is it stops your cooking also. i dont recommend this induction top. there are gar better on the market even if you have to pay more. the light's are cute but they dont cook your food.

this is being by far the best cooktop that we ever had. looks really good with the new renovated kitchen. we had a 30” cooktop before and i’m glad that we went to the 36” one, it makes a big difference with the surface that you have for cooking. we have it since almost a month now and we didn’t have any problems at all. the cooking speed is way faster than in any traditional cooktop including gas. we also love the power booster; it is so fast. i read other reviews where people had issues with the controls, this is not our experience. the controls work perfectly fine, no issues at all. actually, we don’t even use the knob. overall, very satisfied with the purchase. at least for now. i will update the review if things change in the future.

out of box missing parts

out of box knobs, screws and foam tape were missing. samsung refused to replace them because it was past 30 days from delivery. but first they told me 5-10 business days. then once i hung up they rejected the request and didnt tell me, i had to remember they hadnt arrived and wait 40 minutes on hold for them to tell me they wouldnt be shipping. when i asked them how to order the missing parts, they couldnt even give me the part numbers to order, they just told me to call some third party j&j international and ask them. love the service after dropping $7k on samsing appliances for my new kitchen.

Really like the clean lines on this cooktop and the great performance. Amazed how fast everything heats up and really pleased with larger pots and grill on the stove. No cold spots. Makes cooking a lot of fun.

Not a good purchase right now.

we have had problems with this induction cook top since we purchased it in 2018. it has randomly stopped working so we would reset the unit by shutting off the power. it has gotten progressively worse and now will not function at all. randomly turns on and off now and does not heat. unit just freezes up when you try to heat a pan. we have called samsung over one month ago and they put us in touch with ron's appliances. we have made at least 4 calls and texts regarding a scheduled repair and have not received word on a site visit. in a conversation with the repair company after sending them the model number via text, they said they would be in contact with samsung. we have not heard anything back.
