Bought this after researching mamny brands. It's a nice stove. The oven heats evenly which is a huge plus. It's a large oven. Has 5 burners. I can use a griddle on the middle Bieber which makes great pancakes. Well worth the money.

We bought a Maytag oven range model #MGR6600FZ 2 years ago. The oven exterior door panel is separating from the door unit. I noticed this right after using the self-clean feature. We purchased the expensive extended warranty and placed a claim with SafeWare when after we were told that they do not cover “cosmetic” issues. SAY WHAT? The door panel separates due to the excessive heat from the self-clean feature because they do not insulate the oven properly. Don’t build in a self-clean feature if the construction can’t handle it. I notice we are not the only customer that has an issue with this from the reviews. Maytag is aware of this defect, but not standing behind their product. It is a DEFECT, NOT A COMETIC ISSUE. We had a Kitchenaid self-clean oven previously and had NO issue like this.

I bought product a month ago it has been filling my home carbon monoxide since I purchased. The gas company shut off gas and informed me not to use the stove. I informed Maytag and they don’t consider it and emergency that my brand stove is carbon a monoxide spilling monster. I also learned that it is a known issue.they gave my a date one month away just to look at the stove it should be replaced. Don’t buy this product.
